“AWARENESS & SPECIFIC PROPRIOCEPTION.”
This course will reshape the way you view your clients' bodies and refine your approach to training. By developing a deeper awareness in yourself and your clients, you unlock the key to improving physical performance, preventing injuries, and enhancing overall efficiency. Whether you're focused on reinforcement, flexibility, or rehabilitation, awareness and proprioception are essential.
Why do they matter?
Awareness, conscious and intentional, is the foundation for effective movement. It’s about training the brain to recognize and engage specific areas of the body. Without this, even the best training techniques fall short.
Meanwhile, proprioception is automatic and driven by the body's internal sensors. It must be precise. For example, if a client has torn their MCL, it's not enough to train the entire knee; you must target the MCL specifically to regain proper function.
Both are crucial for movement and posture.
Awareness and proprioception work hand in hand: better awareness enhances proprioception by allowing the brain to consciously recognize and fine-tune movement, while improved proprioception increases the body's automatic control, making movement more efficient.
